History and profile of Kingsley David solicitors and its founder

Simon Stone has been in practice as a solicitor since the early eighties, mostly in the private sector. Starting off within the criminal and civil courts, he moved on to the non-contentious aspects of private practice during the 1980s, dealing with general business law, real estate conveyancing and private client work. Simon is Chief Executive of Kingsley David.

In 2000 and whilst a partner at a large practice Simon took up an invitation to enter commerce and industry, first as General Counsel of the title insurer London & European, and then as Legal Director at one of the country’s largest providers of conveyancing services, where he was involved as a consultant right from the concept stage.  He left to establish Kingsley David.

Simon is an accredited tutor for the delivery of training to those sitting the Licensed Conveyancers examinations. He established an in-house training academy with a previous firm, receiving referrals from the local college and other law firms. He conducts courses and seminars for property-based organisations, from legal and law firm personnel to estate agents on client care, procedure and the law involved in property transactions.

Simon was President of the Milton Keynes and District Incorporated Law Society in 1999-2000 and again in 2000-2001. He is former Chairman of Milton Keynes Round Table and is the founder and a trustee of Cariad, a charitable appeal.

Peter Harrison has been in practice in his own firm within the Milton Keynes area for over thirty years and has brought to Kingsley David an enviable client list.  Peter's clients are as loyal to him as he is to them and he is truly an example of the good and traditional solicitor who has acted for generations within families. This is exactly what Kingsley David is and sets its stall out to be. Peter joined Kingsley David in the winter of 2009.

Paul Montgomery is a family law specialist and had been a partner at the same firm as Simon. Since the mid-ninety's Paul practiced in his own firm Paul Montgomery Solicitors and from 2010 combined his firm and amalgamated it into Kingsley David.  The combined firm has 7 lawyers and 6 support staff with a particularly strong emphasis in property and family law. The lawyers have a combined 150 + years of experience! We need some younger blood ...
